The rich history of the city has encouraged successive donations and regular acquisitions. They have increased the valuable collections of the library.

This heading provides several documents. Some exhibitions will be proposed in order to make know the collections and the history of the city.
Operation Jubilee took place on August 19, 1942. 6,100 men participated in this raid, including 5,000 Canadians. Photographs preserved in the heritage library have been digitized to highlight this important day in Dieppe.
The liberation of Dieppe took place on the morning of September 1, 1944. The Canadians got into Dieppe, a town abandoned by the Germans who left the day before.
